Flor De Mayo (484 Amsterdam Ave)

There are two locations: one around 83rd street & another one by 101th street.
This is suppose to be a Peruvian restaurant but surprisingly they had many chinese dishes. Nevertheless, the food was pretty authentic.

Cherviche de pescado
(Very delicious!!!)

Whole chicken
(They are famous for their tasty chicken, it is really good!!)

Black mushrooms with fried tofu and watercress
(It dish is also very good)

Mixed Vegetables- Broccoli, snow peans, bean sprouts, and lettuce
(This dish was alright, wasn't that great)

Spagetti with basil
(Pretty good ;] )

Lomo bistec saltado with tallarin verde
[steak, fries, tomatoes with green rice]
(This was one of my favorite dish, the steak was very tender and juicy & the green rice was really something, definitely different from the white & brown rice that I am used to ;] )

Enjoy!

Picture quality

Dear Food Lovers,

I apologize in advance for the poor/dark photos of some of the dishes. I took them with my iPhone and usually when the restaurant is dim, or with candle lights it comes out very dark. Trust me, I tried flash but still looks ugly sometimes ;/ but I will use flash next time regardless that way you guys can actually see the food! Anyways, try to enjoy it as much as you can!

Okie Dokie!

Max Brenner (841 Broadway)

Fish Tacos with rice and mango salsa

(I did not like this at all!!! It looked very yummy by appearance but unfortunately it did not match my taste buds. Even though I am focusing on sharing delicious dishes with you all but I still wanted to share this with you guys because this restaurant is a popular place. So try it at your own risk! Note: This dish is not cheap either :/ )

Veggie Dish- mozzarella cheese with red and green peppers, fries & pickles
(yummy)

Chocolate crepe with whip cream with chocolate crumbs and more chocolate!!!
(Do I need to explain more? lol ;p )

Matsuri (369 West 16th Street)

Just putting it out there, the restaurant is closing in March due to certain circumstances. So you guys should try their delicious food before its too late!

In my early posts, I only posts two dishes because I was so attracted to the food that I forgot to take the photos (or I think that's the reason...lol) Anyways, this is definitely a restaurant that is worth going back to one in a while. Everything is amazing ;D

Enjoy ^_^

Pear Margarita (sweet drink)

House Salad

Fluke
(One of my favorite dishes here)

Pork Belly
(This is amazing!!!)

Eel avocado roll
(absolutely delicious, this is no joke lol ;p super)

(had this dessert before ;p)

A photo of how the restaurant looks like! The lights are so pretty ;D

Momofuku (171 1st Ave)

Momofuku Noodle Bar is known for their different menus everyday. What's best about this restaurant is that they are not afraid to experiment with food. Sometimes their combination with foods are really strange but it taste amazing. You won't know until you try it! I had these two dishes but you guys will probably try an even more delicious dish next time you visit.

Enjoy ;]

Diced chicken with lettuce leaves, sprinkled with parsley

Pork Buns (They always have this on the menu because it is the BEST, it's really tasty!!)

Boka (St. Marks Place)

Most of us knows that BOKA is famous for their crispy chicken (which is what I always order) but their tuna salad is worth a try!!!

Chart House - 18412 Pacific Coast Hwy Malibu, CA

This restaurant is right on the beach and has a breath taking view.
Absolutely beautiful. You can take a walk on the shore after dinner.

Lobster tail with yellow rice & veggies ;] very yummy

Cocktail Shrimp- one of my all time favorite ^_^
